Spinnaker Insurance inspected the insured’s property on January 17, 2025, at 1:30 PM. Following the inspection, Spinnaker Insurance significantly undervalued the insured’s claim, approving only two shingle replacements, despite CMG Property Solutions identifying extensive roof damage. Spinnaker Insurance hired an unqualified and biased field adjuster with a financial interest in favor of the carrier. On behalf of the insured, an estimate totaling $127,925.19 was prepared and submitted to the desk examiner on January 29, 2025, along with a fair and reasonable settlement offer. To date, Spinnaker Insurance has failed to acknowledge or respond to our communication attempts. This is a straightforward roof claim that should have been settled promptly had Spinnaker Insurance acted in good faith and with due regard for its insureds. Due to this significant delay, the insureds continue to suffer from a loss dating back to October 9, 2024, preventing them from making the necessary repairs to restore their property to its pre-loss condition.
