Searching for DNO Claim Data
Please note: The resolution of your monitor must be set at a high level
to view these pages without horizontally scrolling. A resolution
of 1280 X 1024 pixels is required in order to avoid horizontal scrolling,
but the application will perform normally at any resolution.
DNO Search
Upon clicking the DNO Search link from the Search Selection page the
DNO Search page will display. This powerful search allows you to
search on any field captured in the DNO closed claim A demand for payment from a self-insured entity
or an insurer for losses sustained by a claimant. form.
To Search for an DNO Claim:
Type in and/or select as many search criteria
as are applicable to your search. For information on what each field
means, please refer to the PLCR help file.
Refine your search using the Exact Match, Begins
With, or Anywhere radio button options.
Anywhere
- Selecting this search parameter will enable a search on any information
entered into the field. For example, you could type a few digits of an
NAIC company code, a few letters from part of a company name, etc. and
the search would return all data relevant to whatever information you
typed into the field.
Starts
With - Selecting this search parameter will enable a search
based on the beginning of a field's text. For example, you could type
"All" and "Allstate" would be one of the companies
returned in the search results, or "36418" and all FEINs beginning
with those numbers would appear in the search results.
Exact
Match - This search parameter is the most specific. The search
will look for the exact information you enter into the search field. If
the search criteria does not match the exact information you enter into
the field, no results will be returned. For example, if you searched on
"Allstate", no results would be returned. You must know the
complete name of the company (e.g., Allstate Floridian Indemnity Payment made on behalf of insured to a plaintiff
for damages. Company) if you choose to use exact match.
Click the Search
Button. All applicable results will display on the subsequent search
results page. Please note that searches may take several minutes
to conduct depending on how you query the PLCR data.
The DNO Search Page
On the results page you can choose to conduct a new search, edit the
search, or export the results to a MS Excel comma separated file.
To conduct a new search click the New
Search button.
To modify your existing search click the Edit Search button.
To export your search results to MS Excel click
the Export Search button.
