Spending Amounts:
All information on spending is based on amounts appropriated in the 2014 General
Appropriations Act for State Fiscal Year 2014-2015 less vetoes. The state appropriations

Other Revenues:
The state receives revenue from sources other than households such as federal funds,
business taxes and taxes assessed to tourists. In addition, other fees and fines
are charged to individuals on a case-by-case basis or as appropriate to the circumstances.
Many state programs are funded partly or entirely from these sources. As a result,
calculation of the average amount of money a household pays for those programs will
not reflect the actual cost of the program as these other revenues are not included.
