Remaining appropriations are awarded as grants in accordance with legislative proviso or criteria established by the Department. Rural hospital is defined as an acute care hospital licensed under Chapter 395.602, F.S.

The Department informs applicable hospitals of appropriation with a cover letter.

Application Procedures:
|
Each applicable rural hospital completes an application and submits to the Department for review and approval.

Award Procedures:
|
Applications are reviewed and approved by the Department and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is completed and sent through the review process.
