Objectives:

Provide for supplemental need-based veteran educational benefits. Funds shall be used to assist in the payment of living expenses during holiday and semester breaks for active duty and honorably discharged members of the Armed Forces who served on or after September 11, 2001.

Schools request funding by filling out HDGAP Request Form on the State Student Financial Aid Data Base (SSFAD) located at: http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/osfa

Award Procedures:
|
Eligible students will receive up to $50 per day for twenty days to assist in the payment of living expenses during holiday and semester breaks. Amounts are awarded to schools on a first-come, first-served basis.
|

Deadlines:
|
Application deadline is November 14.
