Objectives:
|
Provide wildlife management services for wildlife species identified as predating imperiled shorebird nests, chicks, or adults or are identified as increasing predation pressure on shorebird nesting and brood rearing areas. Methodology for alleviating the predation threat is situationally based for each emerging situation. Factors include animal type, animal behavior, location (public vs remote), whether or not the personnel can safely discharge a firearm, weather conditions, etc. FWC will coordinate with the contractor the details specific to the event location etc.
