Objectives:
|
In 2019-20, 152 survivors were turned away from service due to a lack of space in transitional programs. Florida is ranked 3rd in the US for human trafficking cases. According to data gathered by the National Human Trafficking Hotline (2007-2019), Tampa ranked as the seventh city in the US for number of human trafficking cases per capita. (Polaris Project: January 24, 2020). Our desire is for Tampa Bay to fall of the list as a top spot for trafficking and for victims to succeed as survivors.
