Objectives:

Provide grant to Gilchrist County to conduct design and construction for a new solid waste transfer facility. This would include transfer station building with full tunnel design, scale-house, household hazardous waste, Mosquito Control building, recycling areas, yard trash and waste tires area.

Project shall be limited to the scope of work stated in Attachment 3 of the GC026 grant agreement. The Department of Environmental Protection reserves the right to withhold payment when the Grantee has failed to perform or comply with provisions of the grant agreement. If a deliverable deadline is not met, the Department of Environmental Protection will reduce the invoice by 1% for each day the deadline is missed, unless an extension is approved in writing by the Department of Environmental Protection.
