Objectives:
|
The purpose of the Articulated Health Care Programs (Live Healthy) - University Lab School Health Care Programs grant is to provide funds necessary to support the implementation of section 1002.32(3)(f), Florida Statutes. The Live Healthy Initiative aims to increase Florida's healthcare workforce, increase access to training, and incentivize innovation. Each lab school will develop and implement a plan, aligned with the university's strategic mission, to increase their students' access to study health care occupations through articulated pathways. As a result, each lab school's articulate health care program will differ from the others, reflecting programmatic strength and unique availability to each university. Each lab school is charged with sharing these innovative practices and providing technical assistance to districts around the state.

RFA applications and forms together with a signed statement certifying applicant's adherence to the General Terms, Assurances, and Conditions are submitted. Entity must submit a detailed proposal and budget summary.

|
Applications are reviewed according to programmatic criteria stated in the RFA and upon approval applicants are sent project award notification.

Award period is July 1 to June 30, of the States Fiscal Year.
